UPRO Soccer Media Consent Form (Main Launch)

1. What This Form Is — and Is Not

This is a standalone, optional consent form. It lets U-Pro Soccer Technologies Inc. (“UPRO Soccer“) use photos and video recordings of you and/or your Child taken at UPRO Soccer live events, training sessions, or workshops for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • It is completely optional. It is not part of registration, and it is never a condition of using the Services. You and your Child get full access to the Services whether or not you sign this form.

  • It has nothing to do with training data. This form does not cover Training Video (which is processed transiently on your device and never stored or transmitted) or Landmark Data (the 33 MediaPipe pose landmarks uploaded for training feedback). Those are governed by the Privacy Policy and the consent flow, not by this form.

  • It applies only to photos and recordings taken at UPRO Soccer events by or for UPRO Soccer.

  • You can say no now and change your mind later — or say yes now and withdraw at any time.

2. What You Are Consenting To (If You Opt In)

If you give this consent, UPRO Soccer may:

  1. Photograph or record you and/or your Child at UPRO Soccer events, training sessions, or workshops.

  2. Use, reproduce, and display those photos and recordings in UPRO Soccer’s promotional and marketing materials, in print and digital media, including UPRO Soccer’s website, social media channels, advertisements, and promotional materials.

  3. Crop or edit the content as reasonably necessary for such use.

Your Child will not be identified by name in any material without additional, specific written consent from you.

3. How Long the Materials Are Used (Defined Retention)

  • UPRO Soccer will use materials covered by this consent for a defined term of a maximum of 24 months from the date of capture, or until you withdraw this consent, whichever comes first, after which the materials will be removed from active use and deleted from UPRO Soccer’s media library, except where you have renewed consent.

  • This is a defined term, not “as long as we need it.” It is consistent with the 24-month maximum in the Privacy Policy retention schedule.

4. Withdrawal and Removal (Our Removal Commitment)

You may withdraw this consent at any time, in whole or for specific materials, by emailing contact@uprosoccer.ca (or legal@uprosoccer.ca).

If you withdraw, UPRO Soccer will:

  1. Stop all new use of the materials immediately;

  2. Remove the materials from every channel UPRO Soccer owns or controls (our website, our social media accounts, our advertising accounts, our printed inventory going forward) within 10 business days of your request; and

  3. Confirm to you in writing when removal from our owned channels is complete.

Honest caveat — third-party re-shares only: once material has been publicly posted, third parties may have re-shared or copied it in places UPRO Soccer does not own or control. We cannot guarantee removal from those third-party copies. This caveat applies only to copies outside our control — it never excuses removal from our own channels, which we commit to completing on the timeline above.

5. Your Rights

  • Saying no, or withdrawing later, carries no penalty and no loss of any benefit or feature of the Services for you or your Child.

  • You may ask at any time which materials featuring your Child are in active use (contact@uprosoccer.ca).

  • For US Parents of Children under 13: photos and videos of your Child are personal information under COPPA. This consent is a separate, non-integral use — you may refuse it entirely while still consenting to the Services, and the verifiable-parental-consent record will log your choice separately.

This consent is given voluntarily, applies only to the uses described above, and is recorded with a timestamp and the version of this form.
