UPRO Soccer — Direct Notice to Parents (United States / COPPA)

Last Updated: July 21, 2026 · Version: 1.0

Subject: Your consent is needed before your child can use UPRO Soccer

Dear Parent or Guardian,

1. Why You Are Receiving This Notice

You (or someone using your email address) started creating a UPRO Soccer account and indicated that the player is a child under 13 in the United States. We have collected your online contact information (your email address), and the player name you entered, for one purpose only: to seek your consent. We have not collected any other personal information from your child, and we will not collect, use, or disclose any personal information from your child unless and until you give verifiable parental consent.

If you do not respond or do not consent within 14 days, we will delete your contact information and the player name from our records. During those 14 days we may send you a reminder to finish giving consent. We will not use your information for marketing, sales, or any other purpose, and we will not share it.

2. Who We Are

U-Pro Soccer Technologies Inc. (“UPRO Soccer”) 423 Main Street, 8th Floor, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1B3, Canada Phone: +1 (204) 963-5626 · Email: legal@uprosoccer.ca

3. What We Would Collect From Your Child — If You Consent

  • Profile information you enter: name/display name, date of birth, gender, skill level, soccer club affiliation, soccer experience, dominant foot.

  • Landmark Data: during training sessions, the app uses your device camera and extracts 33 MediaPipe pose landmarks (x/y/z body-position coordinates) on the device. Only these landmark points are uploaded to our servers, linked to your child’s profile. We treat Landmark Data as personal information.

  • Usage and device data: device information, IP address, and diagnostics.

What we never collect: the video itself. The camera feed (“Training Video”) is processed in real time on your device only — it is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to UPRO Soccer.

4. How We Would Use It

  • To provide the Services (required): scoring drills, giving training feedback, and tracking your child’s progress. Landmark Data upload is integral to this — the app cannot work without it.

  • AI Training (optional — your separate choice): if you separately opt in, we use pseudonymized Landmark Data to train and improve our AI models, further improving the quality of the Services for all players. Saying no to AI Training does not limit your child’s access in any way.

5. Who It Could Be Disclosed To

If you consent, your child’s personal information may be disclosed only to:

  • Service providers (e.g., cloud hosting) that operate the Services for us, under contracts with written confidentiality and security assurances — this disclosure is integral to providing the Services;

  • Your child’s soccer club/academy and approved coaches — only if you opt in to the separate, optional “Share my player’s progress with their club or coach” consent, which is OFF by default. If you opt in, we share your child’s performance metrics and progress only — never your contact details, the raw Landmark Data files, or any video. This consent is optional and refusing it never degrades the Services;

  • Authorities, only when legally required; and

  • A successor company in a merger or acquisition, only with direct notice to you and only if the successor honours your existing consents.

We do not sell children’s personal information, and we do not share it with academic institutions or advertisers.

Your right to refuse non-integral disclosures: you may consent to UPRO Soccer’s collection and use of your child’s information while refusing to permit disclosure to third parties, except where the disclosure is integral to providing the Services (such as our cloud hosting provider). The consent screen presents these choices separately, and the optional choices (AI Training, share with club/coach, media use) are off by default.

6. How to Give (or Refuse) Consent

To consent, follow the link below and complete our verifiable parental consent process:

«INSERT: link to the verifiable parental consent flow»

Our primary verification method is a live video call with a trained UPRO team member, who confirms your identity against a government-issued ID and confirms you are the child’s parent or guardian. A $1.00 verification fee may apply where required. As a fallback, you can download a consent form, sign it, and return it by upload, email, or mail for a team member to verify. You will then see five separate consent choices: Services (required), Landmark Data upload (required, it is the service), AI Training (optional), Share with club/coach (optional), and Media use (optional).

If you do nothing, no personal information will be collected from your child, and we will delete your contact information as described in Section 1.

7. Your Ongoing Rights as a Parent

At any time after consenting, you can:

  1. Review the personal information collected from your child;

  2. Have it deleted;

  3. Refuse to permit further collection or use of your child’s information; and

  4. Withdraw any optional consent (AI Training, share with club/coach, media) separately, without affecting the Services.

To exercise these rights: use your Parent account settings, email legal@uprosoccer.ca, or call +1 (204) 963-5626. We will verify you are the account parent before acting.

If we ever make a material change to what we collect, how we use it, or who we share it with, we will send you a new direct notice and obtain your fresh consent before the change applies to your child.
